This roll-up production tube is commonly credited to Marconick, who introduced it to the U.K. from Holland. In Abracadabra, No. 3274, Oct. 25, 2008, p. 652, Ali Bongo wrote that he published “Snowstorm in Pongolia” in the Feb. 23, 1963 issue of Abracadabra (No. 891), which used the same principle. Bongo feels the principle “may have been around in the fruitful Victorian era.”
