This technique for secretly reversing the bottom card of the deck got it's name from Ken Krenzel. It was however first published by Jim Steranko as “Bottom Reverse” in Steranko on Cards, 1960, p. 42.

Ken Krenzel published the sleight again as “The Invisible Bottom Reverse” in The Card Classics of Ken Krenzel, Harry Lorayne, 1978, p. 45.
