The Weeping Coin

Causing liquid to flow from the uprights of a loom was described in by Antoninus Liberalis's Metapmorphoses, a second-century A.E. play. Guillemin, in his Illustrated History of White Magic, pp. 15 & 90, ascribes the method to a hidden sponge or a bladder in the sleeve.
